In the mean time a question what is the latin term for a Pagan Bug Girl? I am curious.

Wow, what a beautiful place! I love the links too. I'll get back to you on the latin question ;-)
A year ago we had an Australian Forester switch places with a local forester. He was really neat and told me that Aus, New Zealand, Tasmania are very concious of their pristine wildlife and practice excellent conservation and quarantine principles to save the native species. I was giving a seminar on EAB and he could not believe the way we were handling the situation (it is really bad) and he also told me that he felt we needed to plant more trees in our nation's cities. I couldn't agree more! I really gained a lot of insight from his visit; he could not wait to go home!
take care and will write later! keep those pictures coming :-)

Another comment: I began looking at the list of threatened invertebrates (near and dear to my heart) an I see the Tasmanian Devil Tapeworm made the list. I am so sad! 'Course I am being sarcastic, but the sad truth is this is primarily because the host itself is severely threatened. People rarely think of the parasites as a unique and powerful part of the planet's diversity...
